Down low, I'm down here
Among the detritus, of a failed science
Life before now was to be assumed
The stratosphere ringing in my ear
As if the Heavens, torn from end to end
Nothing to contain, this self-constructed life.
The twisted trees of devotion
Their seeds like glitter on my skin
The brilliance of my ways
Those lovely seeds of devotion, condemn me
Itching into my skin
Itching in two
Down low, I'm down here
Among the detritus, of a failed science
Life before now, was unabridged
Reduced to five lines, rendered black on white
I can't think my way out of this pine box
I wait and see, as the Earth engulfs me
The twisted trees of devotion
Their seeds like glitter on my skin
The brilliance of my ways
Those lovely seeds of devotion, condemn me
Itching into my skin
Itching in two
I hear myself saying, I hear myself calling
There's a song in my head
I hear myself saying, I hear myself calling
Sonya, suffocating
Lift me up, exhume my better half
I see my death before me, leading me back around
Down low, I'm down here
Among the detritus of a failed science.
