If I was to be honest with myself
I am a sinking stone
It’s a long way down the wishing well
Down, down, down…
If I could I don’t think I would drift away
How could a stone ever question gravity?
For all the excitement shimmering waves
I know it’s still a well
Any good stone knows it’s place in the world
And I’ve found it here…
Expectations are low here at the bottom
I am a lonely stone
Monolithic thoughts don’t do any good
So I’ll bide my time...
If I could I don’t think I would drift away
How could a stone ever question gravity?
If I could I don’t think I would drift away
I’ve got a sinking feeling that I’m not okay
